The Commonline Journal is complete.
Journal entries are primarily composed of exuberant and unsparing reflections on the self and the world. Named for its concept, The Commonline Journal features low-to-medium diction free-verse poetry that is dramatic, succinct, and graspable.
The journal was originally developed as the curriculum of an interdisciplinary learning contract, exploring literary theory in the context of emerging online networks and nascent digital culture. The site acquired its initial reputation by publishing literary realism by authors emerging through Web 2.0 platforms.
During its decade in publication, The Commonline Journal published legends from the literary underground, people of letters, the unknown, and prestigious award winners. The journal features poetry and editorial from several Literary Editors, writing from dozens of Contributing Editors, and hundreds of manuscripts submitted by the public at large.
