Silver Girl |
by JD DeHart

she is made of shine
but her growl is loud,
a small creature of conundrum,
tiptoeing paradox
who constantly teaches
the rest of us patience.
young and rising up, she loves
to wear clothes almost as much
as she does to be bare,
loves to preen and pose
for photographs.
in this darkened space, she
is luminescent, strangely
human and always curious.
