Tears |
by Marc Carver

When she cries
It makes me laugh.
She cries
because she cannot get her way.
If she was crying for someone else
It would be different
And I may even, cry along with her,
The way I do, when I feel sorry for someone else.
The way I do when someone has been hurt or through injustice.
But she will never do this
So when she cries
I laugh.
