Too close, yet too far
— a poem by Nikita Parik

PASSION-   Thou crafty enchantress!!!
Encapsulated in the Heroin spreading through Joey’s senses,
Or the music drumming against my blood
Loud AnD lOud And lOUD AND LOUD
~ like a religion!
Ah! Then, why art thou
Like a summer’s cloud?
Or like wet moonbeams?
Wet moonbeams on a starry night….
